I did my school trip in Scotland with my friends, but there were also two others trips: Barcelona and Prague. We stayed five days there. We travelled by coach and by baot from Amsterdam to Newcatle ( and when we went back we took it from Newcastle to Amsterdam ).
During this five days, we visited a lot of things. First at all, we visited Edinburgh ( the capital city of Scotland), we walked in New Town, we also saw the Georgian architecture of Edinburgh and we went through Charlotte Square ( the most beautiful Georgian square in Edinburgh). Then, we visited the distillery of Edradour and the Blair Castle. We accommodated in an youth hostel in the Highlands. The food was delicious and people were very nice. We had the opportunity to speak with old people there and it was esay to understand them. Around the youth hostel, there were a lot of mountains and the landscape was beautiful.
The moment that I apprecieted the most was when France and I woke up very early to see the rising sun on summit of one mountain.
I would be interesting to organize a walk ride across the mountain to see the beautiful landscape but I know, we didn't have the time to do it. But it was a great trip.
